Why Me
Why do I want to be your member of Seanad Eireann?
Over the course of 30 years, I have worked within the Community, Private and Public Sector’s to innovate, develop strategic initiatives that can make a difference to people.
First and foremost, I am a facilitator and an advocate for causes and the imaginative initiatives of those who take up the cause. The office of Senator provides a means and a status to assist others in the causes that deserve support.
I wish to give a voice to those whose voice is too often drowned out in the political discourse and debate. As an Independent and non aligned member of Seanad Eireann, I want the opportunity to lead and change thinking and attitudes while influencing public policy and law.
Every Senator and TD is given the unique privilege to lead Public Opinion, by way of election and the trust of voters. I want to have that Platform to introduce greater creative thinking, stimulate innovative action and bring fresh insights that help future proof Government policy and decisions.

The greatest contribution I have made in my life to date, has been to put a shoulder to the wheel of other people’s imaginative and courageous initiatives.
